Does anyone know of a software I can install for voicemail answering? We have a small home office and need help. In the past we had access to voicemail software online that would handle our calls when we were out. since, they've been out of the loop and we need a professional image. Can anyone direct me to a place where I can gain access to voicemail software?...freeware if we can get it. Thank you. PS. We currently have an old answering machine that no longer operates well.
Where can I find prank incoming voicemail messages? I would like to prank call my friends with fake voicemail messages. I am able to find plenty of sound boards and outgoing voicemail greetings but I have yet to come across any incoming voicemail messages. I do not want voice changing software - I already have that and have yielded great results - but would rather just have a bunch of random sound files I can use - not sound effects, but actual messages.
who has a glitch in their lg voyager software? is it just my bad luck or are other people experiencing a software glitch in the lg voyager? whenever i receive a voicemail message it gives me the option to listen now or listen later. when u touch listen now nothing happens.
I need help with voicemail!!! How do I record music on it CLEARLY? I've been trying for years to record my voicemail message as a song. I've tried to put my phone close to a speaker, played around with how far the phone was from the speaker, etc. and it never comes out CLEAR. It's always scratchy or garbled. Is there any software out there that helps with this? Some type of "voicemail transfer" device for mp3's or something of that nature? SOMEONE, please help me - it drives me crazy! Any tips would be appreciated.
How can I download a fax from my TMobile voicemail? I received a fax in my TMobile cell phone voice mailbox. I have a Motorola V300 cell phone, and I also have Motorola mobile phone tools software and the USB cable to connect my cell phone to my PC. When retrieving the fax, I hear the faxmodem tones on the cell phone. How can I make my PC "listen" to these tones and receive the fax? Thanks -- Sanjay
Can people listen to you deleted ("press #3 to delete) voice messages? I recently called an office with which I work, left a message, and used the option ("Press 3 to delete and rerecord") to rerecord my message. I did this a few times. Is there anyway for the office to retrieve and listen to the messages that I deleted? Does anybody know of any mobile service, voicemail system, or voicemail software which has the option for the owner of the number to listen to the messages callers think they deleted?
Can I permanently save a voicemail on my Sony Ericsson mobile? It's a W800 and I'm on T-Mobile. Is there a way besides complicated hook-ups to computers using software I don't have? iPhone 3GS acting weird after 4.0 software upgrade? I downloaded the upgrade this morning, and now my phone has a bunch of strange glitches... - Every time I unlock it, it asks for my *voicemail* password. - I did not have an active call, but when I opened an app, the green bar appeared at the top of the phone and indicated I was in the middle of a 6 minute phone call. - When I tried to type in an app, the keyboard screen froze in position. Is anyone else experiencing glitches after the new software release? What can I do to fix this?
Cell Phone Tapping Software? Is there really legitimate software out there, somewhere that can not be detected that will send every voicemail, text message etc. to my computer. The reason i am asking is because I am tired of being lyed to and taken advantage of...so I want to know for sure that what I suspect is true. I appreciate any knowledge you have about this subject.
telephone software? I have a recording (MP3) that I want to record on my voicemail greeting, but when I try putting the speaker to the phone and record it, it sounds distorted and staticy. Is there any software that can connect to my modem and transmit the sound on to the phone? I'll even settle with software that lets you talk on the phone line. I just want to record it and for it to sound clear. Please help.

Verizon Brigade cell phone not sending/recieving text or voicemail messages, can't delete text inbox either? Just wondering if there are any other ideas I can try. Phone makes & recieves calls just fine....but if I miss a call & the caller leaves a voicemail, it never registers to the phone OR to my voicemail inbox if I call the number directly. Phone won't send texts; just says "sending" indefinitely without even bringing up an error message. Won't recieve texts either. I tried deleting messages in my inbox in case a full inbox was causing the problem....it lets me select & "delete" messages, and it even says "deleted"....but then I go back into the inbox and the message is still there, available to be read. If I try to "delete all" at the same time, it says there aren't any messages to delete. I changed the "message view" option so that it shows messages in order of the time they were recieved instead of in a "threaded" order...found this tip online from somebody with the same issue. Now I can't even OPEN my inbox. I've taken the battery out of the phone & put it back in at least 4 times. I downloaded a software update last night. I updated my roaming options this afternoon. I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon going through all the basic troubleshooting steps & to no avail. They're going to put in a "trouble ticket" and get back to me in a few days with some sort of answer or solution. I don't *think* it's a network issue, as my husband was home all weekend & his phone was getting messages the whole time. There *is* an Alltel tower nearby that is being converted to AT&T so I had wondered about a tower outage or something causing an issue, but I'm doubtful. In the meantime I figured I'd try to see what I could do to troubleshoot the phone myself. I HATE getting refurbished replacement phones; they're almost always glitchier than the original equipment....if I can fix THIS one I'd like to do so. Any techie wizards out there with any ideas?? Anyone else with a Brigade having this problem?? Thanks, Nathan....makes me feel a little better about the idea of getting a replacement phone....I have a feeling that's what's going to happen in the end, too. I wanted to add, that for some reason the phone DOES allow me to send picture messages....but NOT plain text! And when it sends the picture, it auto-saves the message, then freezes up entirely. I have to pry off the battery cover & take out the battery to shut it off when it does this. It froze up after a picture message a couple times prior to this (I've only had this phone about 2 months), but it always worked again after I rebooted it, until now. Just figured I'd add that bit of info in case it makes a difference.
How do I record my voice or a voicemail onto my computer? I need to save a voicemail for court but my provider (Boost Mobile) doesn't offer a save option for long periods of time. So, how can I put my phone on speaker and let my computer record the message through the microphone? I did an internet search and got bombarded with info that doesn't apply to my situation 100%. I need a cheap solution, not "go buy a mini voice recorder" or "buy a cord to connect from your phone to your computer". I need a simple program, meaning not something with a lot of editing software. I need it simple, just record and play. Thank you in advance for your help.
How can i downgrade my Iphone and still keep visual voicemail and Edge? I made the mistake of upgrading my iPhone software from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2. Since then, i could not get AppTapp Installer which was the only reason i went to sleep at night. I used the guide at Hackint0sh to downgrade back to 1.1.1. It worked alright, except when i got on it, it said awaiting activation. Although it let me make calls using my wifi, there was no visual voicemail, and on itunes, under phone number it said n/a. WHAT DO I DO?
Some type of software that can save voicemails onto the computer?!? My boss wants me to find out if there is some kind of software or program that we can purchase that has the ability to save voicemails from our office line onto our computer. I work at a small law firm and generally we transcribe the voicemails but now he wants to be able to pull up a voicemail from our system, should we ever need to use it during a deposition or in court rather then keeping it saved onto our phone inbox. Do any of you computer savy people know of anything like this or point me in the right direction? Thanks!!
Any good voice editing software ? I got a voicemail in MP3 format, in that i can clearly hear the msg. of the person who sent me the mail, but in the background i also hear another person's voice, 1. Is it possible to separate that second person's voice alone as a separate track ? 2. If so using which software it could be done ? (I tried with Audacity, but in vain!) 3. Also in songs/albums if we want to extract the tune of one particular instrument alone(say a drum beat or a guitar tune)in the whole song, how it could be done ? I would appreciate if there is any video tutorial available in Youtube or any where online.Pl. help me if somebody could. Thanks.
Why don't cell phone companies design answering machine software? With the advent of features and technology with multimedia players, games, applications, TV, video and cameras, why do I still have to dial my service provider's voicemail to get my messages? Why can't Motorola, Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung, etc just develop inherent software technology to pick up my messages while I'm away from my cell phone and store them digitally like most other external answering machine technology? I can understand and respect that my phone would need to have power all the time to respond to those messages, but so does an ordinary answering machine in a home. In the event of a power outage an external answering system goes kaput as well. I'm just surprised there's no feature out there for the consumer option to save their phone messages locally on their cell phone...
My sony ericsson k800i has a broken end call button. Does anyone know a software to remap this key? The button doesn't function correctly, it works SOMETIMES, like if i press it or hold it basically when i get lucky it works. So when i call someone and it goes to voicemail i leave these whack msgs while trying to end the call. My warranty is expired so i cant really send it in for free repair. Does anyone know where i can find a key remapping software to disable that end call button and change it to another button like the internet button?
Can I Link My Phone to my Computer? I have a Avaya 6424D+ with a AWH55+ Wireless Headset and an IBM ThinkPad lenovo Z61t. I would love to be able to find the software and hardware to link the two so that it will pop up on my screen when i have incoming call and have voicemail. My phone is out of my line of sight and I often have my headphones on. Any suggestions?
Personal Voicemail at home? Anyone knows of any software where I could use it answer and record voicemails for me? Also, it could be something that can be customizable, e.g. greetings. And if possible, additional features such being able to use two phone lines. But that's just fancy. LOL
Does anyone know of a place to listen to prescriptions to practice writing them? (info in question)? I am a pharmacy intern and I would like to have some more practice at taking oral prescriptions over the phone. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website or software that has recordings (like a nurse leaving a voicemail) of prescriptions where you can practice writing them down quickly and accurately? I know this is a weird question and it's a long shot to find another pharmacy intern or pharmacist that knows about this but thought I'd try! Thanks :)

need help fixing my Razr V3 software, it lost functions!!? i was trying to mod my phone, i went to some website and download a ton of things, p2kcommander, motorola PST, and a few other programs, and tried to copy things from my razr V3 to my computer. the pictures i had successfully copied to my PC were messed up, only half the picture would show. so i finally gave up, after a few hours of "work" time, and i unplugged my phone. i found out that somehow, somewhere, my phone lost capabilities, such as viewing the inbox, and looking at videos. when i go to menu-messaging, the only 3 options i now have are "create message", "voicemail", and "browser msgs". when i go to menu-my stuff, i only have 4 options, which include "camera", "pictures", "sounds", and "video camera". i tried to do a master restore, but it didn't help at all. Can someone please tell me how to fix this, step-by-step if possible? please and thank you, any information would be appreciated!!!!
How do I uninstall ROM imbedded software from my PPC? I have a pocket pc that is preloaded with a bunch of crapware (VZ app zone, Opera Browser, Shozu, Visual Voicemail, VZ Navigator etc) The only thing I might want to keep is Opera, but I have no use and too little storage space to waste on the others. I cannot remove them manually since the "delete" option is grayed out when I open up their executable files in the file explorer even though I've ended all tasks with the task manager. The first thing I actually tried to do is extract the ROM and edit it then flash it back. heck, it worked great on my treo, so why not my new phone? Well, to anyone who cares, that isn't such a great idea anymore. I actually bricked it. I was able to flash back the original ROM and now I'm back where I started.
Automatic Voice answering machine/sw for Android phones? Hi, I'm looking for an android software, which can act as an answering machine in my mobile phone, where callers can leave a message after listening to custom greeting instead of carrier voicemail. There are couple of softwares for Symbian OS like voice jockey / Melon Voice box / webgate voice inbox, but not able to find any for Android phones. Do you have info... ?? Again which one will be the best one? Thanks in advance for your answers :-)
Weird coincidence, but what does it mean? I broke up with this girl or she broke up with me a few months ago. For some reason after I had stopped talking to her my phone began to call her number when I called my voicemail. I took my phone in to get it fixed so I wouldn't have to worry about calling her everytime I check my voicemail. They reloaded the software on my phone and reprogrammed my voicemail system. It still calls her...even thought I always hang up right away she gets missed calls from me. Sometimes she will text me making little jokes..and today she texted me telling me that she thinks about me a lot still and she probably was texting me for a few hours. Does this mean anything? I should mention...she says she has a boyfriend now..

Sales negotiation - how to best handle this type of question? I have been evaluating a variety of VERY expensive software solutions for our company. I got a voicemail from one of the sales reps that says "I wanted to get an idea of the pricing that you were looking to get". To me, this is a weak, lazy way to work with a potential client. If they have a product that they have sold to ANYONE in the past, they should attempt to "coach" me (the client) through the process of the pricing structure. I understand the tactic, he wants me to reveal the budget or money I plan to spend. He will then come up with the best way he can justify how his product will cost that much to fit my budget. What I'm looking for - how should I come back to this guy? What should I respond to him with? Should I say "Well what ya sellin' it for?"

a dissertation study about telephony IP : Could you correct my English Abstract please ? hello everybody, I'm not an English speaker but in the fields of my study, I'm now writing my final dissertation (in French : mémoire de fin d'étude). So, I have to write an English abstract of my work in the end of my book. That's why, I was wondering if some of you can correct it please. Here it is : ----------------------------- Abstract VoIP or Voice over Internet protocol is one of the most recent technology of the beginning of the XXIst century. It consists on transferring voice by the mean of internet protocol. Compared to public telephone network service, its main advantages remain in his very low cost. Many VoIP providers exists on the web (such as Skype, Ekiga, X-lite and so on), and give us free services: chat, call, and video-conference. It also allows us to call any phone number in the world from a machine connected to internet. But the current research is focused on VoIP, in its restricted sense, that is to say, the transfer of voice via internet protocol. In this document we have briefly described the TCP/IP model which is used in VoIP, and its 4 layers. Then, 4 specified protocols have also been more detailed in order to understand how does VoIP work : TCP/UDP, RTP/RTCP, ARP and SIP/H323. After that, we have related how to build a local network allowing calls, voicemail, and conference by the mean of VoIP technology. The software-server Asterisk give use the possibility to manage many computer-clients containing x-lite softphone and two telephone IP. In addition, we have also shown that this kind of communication is pretty vulnerable. In fact, a computer connected to the network, can recover conversation between any clients simply by launching wireshark. Thus, it is essential to examine the benefits and the risks for adopting a VoIP network. Alternately, we have to notice that several tips already exist to reduce this vulnerability as well, and act with different manner : by a better encrypting, or securing better the the voice transferring. In any way, we think that in the future, VoIP will take the place of the current public telephony network because numerical gadgets are now invading the world market. ----------------------------- Thanks a lot.
Like the Cisco 2621XM router, can the Cisco 2620XM router do VOIP PBX as well? I'm new to voice and I'm studying for CCNA then on to CCNP and getting accustomed as well wanting to explore CCNP and VOIP in general. I want to set up a direct link with a friend to his house and have a phone at each end. Also, possibly get two for here to test. I'm sure I can do the research on how to set the individual router up but is it difficult? Also, do you need computer software as an intermediary (or is this just for directory/voicemail?). I can get the 2620XM for about a hundred dollars cheaper than the 2621XM ($200 instead of $300) and if I can get two for each link and one for local use it would be perfect. I'm a student so I'm not exactly in the money. If you have an alternative suggestion as well please feel free. Thanks!
Help with iPhone glitches?!? There are a TON of glitches right now with my 8g 3gs iPhone, does anyone know any resolution for any one of these issues? Thanks! :) 1.) Asking for "Voicemail Password" multiple times whenever I unlock my screen (I don't have/need a voicemail password and am never on voicemail when this pops up.) 2.) Voicemail is "Full" when there are no voicemails visible. People will call me, and if I don't answer, my answering machine will say my inbox is full, when in fact I have not received (or seen in the visual voicemail) any messages left. 3.) Home Button lag/not working: About two weeks ago I updated the software on my iPhone, the home button stopped working completely immediately after I updated. About 5 days later, it started working again but still lags. Any ideas as to how I can fix these? Thanks again :D
iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone. What will i lose if i upgrade? iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone. What will i lose if i upgrade? I have a first generation iPhone. [software vers 1.1.2] Never unlocked or jailbroken. I always sync manually. When I try to upgrade the software it tells me I am not synched to the current iTunes library and wants to erase the phone. What will I lose if I say yes? If i'ts just the music, no problem, it's backed up. So are bookmarks, mail and photo's. I found software to get sms's and notes [without iPhone formatting]. But if I lose the voicemail or somethong else I can't think of beforehand I'll cry. Some websites tell me I should have backups in my var directory, but I don't. I asked Apple and AT&T. Three different answers. Why is there no way to completely back up an iPhone? I can do it with an ipod. Why does the iPhone have to sync to iTunes before an upgrade? How does it keep track of which iTunes library I am synched to? [I can't!] btw I tried using a jailbreak app to enable ssh [I have no idea what this means], but it requires me to sync the phone first, so no help there either. Help! ps "my iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone"… kinda sounds like a country song written by a geek, eh? the Silicon Valley [sung to the tune of "Red River Valley*"] From my iphone they say you are going I will miss my voicemail and the rest For they say you are taking the settings That have given my life all the best Come on upgrade my phone you love me But don't hasten to bid me adieu Just remember the Silicon Valley And the Mac boy who loved you so true Won't you think of the iPhone you're leaving Oh how lonely, how sad it will be? Please just think of the fond heart you're breaking And the grief that you're causing to me As you vanish and go to the ether I will never forget those sweet hours That we had cuz the Silicon Valley Screwed me royally in seach of bigger profits [sorry if the last line doesn't rhyme, it doesn't make sense either.] * pps if you don't know the tune it's here http://kids.niehs.nih.gov/lyrics/redriver.htm
what is the best verizon wireless to purchase? I have the Razr right now. its pretty much indestructable. however, i hafta call from another phone to access my voicemail. the keypad still works (dialing and texting and what-not). the software is screwed up or something. Which phone i should get? i would like one that is DURABLE (im rather clumsy), has a QWERTY KEYBOARD (for texting) and a KEYPAD (calls of course), a GOOD BATTERY LIFE (charging it is so bothersome), and maybe a TOUCH SCREEN (??) but i dunno for sure about the touch screen. i am kind of leaning towards the enV2 but i know a lot of people around my area and in my activities have that phone and i dont want to mix them up. I was also thinking about the voyager but my friend (who has that phone) says the touch screen gets bothersome. The Samsung glyde looks cool but the keys are really small (i've got bigger fingers). the alias would be nice but the keys create a problem again! The Dare looks like fun but i think all touch screen would get annoying. thanks!!
What legal actions can I take? I lease an apartment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a duplex and I live above my landlord. He is attempting to sell the property and will show it every other week or so. I am looking to find what legal recourse I can take for what I take to be an intrusion into my private space. While I was at work over an hour away he sent me these messages which are archived automatically in my Google Voice account: Landlord: I'm going to show the building today 3 to 4. Will that be ok? 11:17 AM Me: No, I'm at work, will tomorrow suffice? 1:31 PM Landlord: The client can't is there any way I can show him briefly it doesnt matter if it's messy 1:40 PM Me: No, I'd like a day's notice before you schedule a walkthrough. 2:27 PM At which point I believed it was over and done with. I got home and didn't feel right about it because I live alone and I believe my landlord to be every bit conniving as I suspect. Luckily I have my webcam hooked up to my computer with motion detection software that records video footage with the date & time when triggered. I open it up and, lo and behold, he is showing the last room in my apartment, mine, at 2:39pm . It clearly shows him and two other people. I called him at 4:28pm and left a voicemail informing him of my disapproval. to which he replied via my voicemail: Landlord (voicemail transcription): Chris, It's *******. How you doing I do apologize because I sent you text and by the time you you replied that my client was already there and I didn't think it a big deal, but I apologize. I'll definitely give you a heads up a day in advance next time. Thanks Bye, alright. Thanks I didn't find this to be good enough; should I be forced to repeat the same answer, NO, over and over? He's tried to enter our apartment before without 24-hrs notice and I've denied him the right to enter because he did not give notice. And once he simply just appeared in my kitchen while I was cooking with music playing for which his excuse was that he knocked. To me it doesn't matter if you knocked and I did or did not hear you, I have a right to privacy in the space that I rent. In exactly zero of these unauthorized intrusions was there a need for immediate entry (such as electric short, pipes burst, etc.). Me: 1, I shouldn't have to repeat myself when saying no and 2, the timestamp on my security video shows you had plenty of time to get the SAME message. 4:42 PM Landlord: And I should not repeat my self 100 times that you both never on time for rent 4:44 PM I didn't see this argument going anywhere so I have said nothing back at this point. My rent is paid so, to me, it just seemed to be an attempt to change the argument. I also have a roommate that didn't even know all this was going on as he currently is not staying here. I would like to know what legal recourse I can take, if any. I realize he has the right to show the apartment, my problem lies in the fact that he did not give me what is considered to be "reasonable" notice (most sites peg it at least at 24-hrs.) as per my right to quiet enjoyment. He have me 3 hours and some change notice, but I was already at work and did not give him permission to enter my apartment in lieu of such "reasonable" notice.
Why can't I update my curve 8520 to version 5? I have a mac and I use Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac to sync and charge my blackberry Curve 8520(T-Mobile). About 4 weeks ago it asked if i wanted to update my software, I said yes and it updated me to version 5. Then about 4 days ago it said my software was invalid or some shit like that and then painfully downgraded me to version 4.6 again. But I want to go back to Version 5 because it has visual voicemail and an entirely better interface. But even when I try to Wireless Update from my Curve it says my software is up to date.... what gives?
EnV touch help please!? I text a LOT but I'm at school during the week from 8-3, i don't text a lot during then except maybe during class lol. (otherwise it sits in my purse or pocket, not off, but like...on standby.) sometimes i do my homework on the bus, and i need the internet...like merriam webster or something. will the phone drain a lot? how about for youtube or something? not for like, straight a couple hours, max 30 minutes i'll be on there with my friends. i heard about a software upgrade or something that extends your battery at the verizon store (NOT the extended battery- software, apparently) and they give you a new standard charger or something... how much for internet per month? my family has blackberries and i guess they can't be covered for unlimited internet (they currently pay $120 A MONTH for all of them.) do i *have* to pay for virtual voicemail or whatever? i don't need it :P does it have a touch keyboard? does it do 123 texting too? (on the touchscreen, like the dare.) i would appreciate if only people who own/have experience with touches to answer. * 6 hours ago * - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details oh, and i make a couple phonecalls when i'm away from home, maybe 1-2 max. I tried the first time but nobody answered :/

Can someone answer these questions about the Storm? Does the Storm have visual voicemail? In a lot of videos, the phone lags a bit and there recently was a supposed software problem that had to be fixed. Do you think this will help with response time not only in programs but with the accelerometer? What do you like best about the Storm? I am undecided. I was fervent on getting one tomorrow, but am doubting it now. Help me change my mind back to getting one. Also, is it true that the Storm won't be available at Best Buy until the 23rd? I know you get a free bluetooth with it, but does it come with the 8G micro-sd card too? The only reason to possibly wait is for that instant rebate versus the mail in I guess. Even better if it is sold the same day.
my iphone is stuck in phone mode? i downloaded the new 2.0.2 software onto my first gen iphone last night and it froze my iphone. so i reset it and it worked fine up until this morning. when i wake up the phone it goes directly to the phone section. if i hit the menu button is does nothing. it won't return to the home screen. i can access all my contacts and voicemail, even e-mail them and look up their address in the map feature. but it won't do anything else. it won't turn off, it only vibrates when i receive a call, and it lets me know when i have a new e-mail. but of course i can't actually access my e-mail because it just returns to the phone section. i'm at work so i can't plug it in and reset it again so i hoped there was something i could do without itunes access. i also hope this isn't a trend with the 2.0.2 update
IPhone 3GS acting weird after 4.0 upgrade? I installedvthe upgrade yesterday, and now my phone has a bunch of strange glitches... - Every time I unlock it, it asks for my *voicemail* password. Even if I enter it, the next time I unlock it, it asks for it again. - I did not have an active call, but when I opened an app, the green bar appeared at the top of the phone and indicated I was in the middle of a 6 minute phone call. - When I type in an app, the keyboard screen froze in position. - Battery is draining superfast Is anyone else experiencing glitches after the new software release? What can I do to fix this?
How do I explain my job when filling out a resume? I work at a wholesale distributor, which means we deal in invoices (incoming and outgoing) rather than automatically-printed receipts for orders made. It is my job to type the orders into our accounting software so that I may add additional charges like freight before making a record of the order (I.E. printing an invoice). I am currently writing a general resume so that when I move to another city to attend another university, and I want to find a succinct word to describe my job (aside from "invoice-typer" or something which sounds inane) so that I can make less explanation under the "Responsibilities" header. I also answer the phones and occassionally take messages (we do have an automated voicemail), so I know I am additionally a receptionist, but it does not describe the key aspect of my job which is to type, check, and file all orders coming into the company.
My Motorola Krazr (KM1) has been shutting down on me all the time. Anyone else had similar problems? The phone will just be on the table on in my purse or whatever; and it just shuts down by itself. Not powers down, just shuts down. Then when someone calls it doens't register as a missed call and voicemail won't even pick up. Sometimes I have to put it on the charger just to get it to turn back on. I bought a new battery, which did not help. I went to Alltel and they did some software update, which also did not help. I never got the phone wet or anything, and its only about 8 months old. Anyone have any ideas or had the same problem? Thanks :)
Job offer....can I negotiate? Meet with HR director to ask questions? I just received a job offer at a medium sized company doing customer support for educational software. I heard that it was always a good idea to negotiate salary from some sources, and that entry level salary was not negotiable from other sources and possibly even risky. I do like the salary offer, but if I can get moer that is of course a good thing. The offer came through an emailed offer letter and a telephone message (I was unable to answer my cell at the time). I returned his call and left a voicemail saying I would like to come in and discuss the details of the offer (some things were missing, like benefits). Is this the right move? Should I negotiate salary, or even ask to negotiate? Might he retract his offer at the mere mention of "discussing details"?
Proximity sensor on my enV touch...? This is the second enV touch ive gotten, and i really like the phone a lot. the problem with this one is that in the middle of a call i would like to be able to check the time and especially for my voicemail i would like to easily type in the password. the problem is that a couple seconds into a call the phone goes black. on the previous phone i had, the proximity sensor worked and when i moved the phone away from my face it would light up and i could easily look at the screen. the phone i have now doesnt do that, and i'm not sure how to fix it. looking through the "phone settings" "touch settings" and "call settings" doesnt work. Im not sure if resetting the software would fix the problem, but I'd rather not do that if its going to erase everything i currently have on the phone... i can open the keyboard and have the external screen light up that way, but its getting a little old
I really need LG Voyager help :( ? ? Ok I got an LG Voyager and I need some help with this: 1) I want to download music onto it, but I don't want to buy a memory card. 2) When I plug the USB to the computer and the phone, and I click to install, it always fails to install the software. 3) I never got a CD with the phone, maybe because I can't find it, but on the box it says that there was no CD that came with it 4) I got a voicemail, and I can't check it because it asks for my temporary password, but I don't know what it is I tried to use my last 4 digits of my # but it's wrong
Is there a way to customize Samsung Katalyst (tmobile)? I'm not a big cell phone person that mod's his cellphone but I wanted to know if there was software or even a way to customize the Katalyst. A specific example of what I am looking to do: Instead of the 4 tones they give you for text or voicemail alerts, I would like to add my own. I do have some mp3's for ringtones and either I am not seeing how to set an mp3 from the memory card (I did buy 1g sd for mp3 ringtones) or from the music to use it for text alerts, voice mail alerts, or even alarm clock. I have tried browsing the user manual and maybe just am not seeing it. Sorry this is long winded but if anyone knows how to really customize the katalyst and have a bit of patience (am technologically inclined just not with cell phones it seems) please help a novice out. Thank you!
