How Do I Correct an incorrect phone number on the internet if I don't know the source? I Get about 3 calls on my landline a week about breeding of birds. Most people ask if I have Kookaburras. Some people ask If I am flying my Buzzard this weekend and others about various wild birds for sale. I usually miss these calls and get the messages on my voicemail. Internet Purchase, Charged MY Credit Card but NO items or shipment? I made a purchase last Tuesday (8/21) on an internet site, that was secured. My total purchase was over $170 including the shipping cost which I paid for Next Day Air UPS. My credit card was charge the next day on Aug 22. Alltel Voicemail Setup? I have a motorola E815 and I'm trying to set up my voicemail. I've been on the Alltel website. I dial my number and it says "Welcome to the Alltel network. Please enter your mailbox number." The internet directions say to push # then enter the security code of 9999. No matter what I push, I get the same greeting. Its a 13k per year desk fee that is paid with a 50/50 split till it is paid. Once I make 26k total in commision I get 100% of my commisions. How do I know if a modeling offer is legit? I recieved a random phone call the other night (at about 3am) and some woman with a British accent left a voicemail. She said the message was directed at me (and surprisingly pronounced my last name right, which no one does) and said she's from Image Modeling (at least I think that's what she said) in London. She was wondering if I'd be interested in modeling and told me to send a detailed email to one of her coworkers (she gave me an email address) and attach any headshots or photos of myself that I have. She didn't leave a phone number to call back and I tried looking up info on the internet on this so called "Image Modeling," but couldn't find anything. I've been told many times before that I'm very good looking and that I should try to get into modeling (not to sound arrogant), but does this sound like a scam or should I try it out? One more thing: I couldn't figure out how she got my cell phone number to begin with. Is it possible that someone recommended me that I know?

Internet without a Land Line in Mississippi? We're thinking of switching from our current internet service with CableOne in Winona, MS 38967 and switching to another service provider, but we're having trouble finding something that's affordable and does not require a landline, as we use cellphones. CableOne recently made some changes to the services they offer, and now the cheapest internet they offer is 3Mb for $43 a month (website not yet updated). Currently we are on an outdated plan, which is 384k for $23 or so a month. Bellsouth/AT&T offers DSL without a landline (aka naked or free-standing dsl) for $19.95 a month (for 768Kbps), but apparently our address does not qualify for this, though I think I'll call and make sure. If it really does not qualify, we would have to spend at least $20 on a landline we would never use other than for the internet. Other DSL and internet providers are the same, they require a landline phone. I've looked into Comcast, but we were considering getting DirecTv for cable, and the only way it's cheap is when you have the Comcast tv service as well. I've looked into lots of other places as well. So...suggestions anyone? I don't suppose there's anyplace that will give you a landline for dirtcheap? We don't need voicemail, caller ID, long distance, or anything, because the only use for the line would be for internet usage, but it'd have to be on all the time I guess, not sure how DSL works in that respect. I've looked into satellite internet providers already, and the cheapest I've seen was 50 or so dollars, and we can't really afford that. There was a promotional price for around 40 dollars, but it shot right back up to the regular, more expensive price soon after.

Internet phones? Do they have wireless connection phones? Voicemail? Text messaging? If I'm at school or a bar where they have password protected wirless can i still login my username and password to access their internet? How would it work where places like mcdonalds or starbucks that charge for their wireless internet? How big are they ? From pictures they look the size of home landline portable phones? Please enlighten me, beacuse i was thinking everywhere i go there is a wireless connection, I have wireless at home , work, and school, so why even pay for service from a regular cell phone provider like verizon att etc?

Should I get rid of internet and get text messaging? I never use my phone, and it's never charged because I don't use it...My dad took off text messaging (and fucking voicemail..wtf?) because it charges him...(?) Well, they have "unlimited" text messaging for Verizon, yes? If it's only $20 a month, should I ask to get rid of the internet, and get text messaging? Everybody has it, and I usually feel left out. It will also get me off the computer. (I'm on here enough...) He would be saving...$30 a month because the internet is 50 and getting rid of that would leave $30. What else could help the argument in my favor? Also, does "unlimited" mean that you can text message people with a different provider?

I used to love this guy off the internet that i had been talking to on the computer and the phone for over 6? -months. I seriously fell in love and he fell i love with me.
