How can I figure out who was put through my voicemail when my phone was turned off?

My phone does not register missed calls when it is turned off, so I was wondering if anyone knows how to check and see if any calls were put through the voicemail when my phone is turned off, so that I know whose calls I missed when it was turned off. I use cingular/AT&T.

1. you will only be able to know if someone actually left you a message. on most phones, you can check your voicemail by pressing and holding 1.
2. i have verizon and usually there is an option afterwards to get envolp info!! and it would give the number.. just listen to all options some companies don't offer it thoguth!!
