Voicemail

How do I turn the voicemail service off on a Sony Ericsson W800i?

Can anybody advise me as to how you turn the voicemail off/on please? Have searched through the settings with no luck? If it helps I am on Vodafone. Phone rings about 3 times then goes straight on to voicemail then I have to pay to retrieve a message I probably dont need anyway!

1. I dont think there is any settings on your handset, Try contacting vodafone they could do something for you?
2. This is not a setting within your phone, it is triggered by your service provider. you need to contact them and ask for voicemail to be turned off. there is no charge for this. it is a service they put on automatically as a way of increasing revenue.
