How do I download a cellphone voicemail with Verizon?

I have a KRZR. I don't understand what you mean by pressing 1? just dial 1?

1. listen to the voicemail. while it's playing record via phone (not all phones have this feature) - save recording. you have just downloaded a voicemail into your phone. to download to your computer will again depend on the cellphone...
2. i dont think you have to, it comes with it and always had. all you do is press 1 and dial and there be instructions for you to do it.
