Verizon cell phone acting weird anyone have this problem?

I have just recently got a verizon cell phone two months ago. It has been working fine up until the other night. Now I dont have a voice mail system. It either gets transferred to another person or it sounds like a dial up modem and people hang up because they think they have the wrong number. Anyone ever hear of this problem or had it? And more importantly anyone know how to fix this problem?

1. u may need to call verizon customer service. it sounds like either someone has tampered with ur phone or there is a problem with the system
