Verizon Won't Let Me Set Standard Greeting with Number for Voicemail?

A long time ago on my Verizon phone I set my name for the standard greeting. After that i went a while with personal greetings. Now I want to switch back to the greeting where it says "Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system. This number *(mobile number here)* is not available. At the tone please record your message.......etc. But everytime i set it to standard greeting it uses my recorded name in place of the number. Does anybody know how I can take off the recorded name or something so it just says my number? Thanks

  1. Dial 611 from your phone and ask the rep to reset your voicemail. It will revert everything back to default settings. Your pin will be your phone number, your message will be generic and you will lose all your saved voicemails.
