Voicemail

How do I turn off the voicemail light on an Avaya office telephone?

I have no messages, but the voicemail indicator light is on. I have an Avaya 4424d+ system and we can't figure out how to fix this!!!

2. I have the same phone, and the same problem!! When I try to check the messages, there are none, and it rings to another phone. I tried looking online to see if I could find a solution, but alas, there was none.
3. Hey this is Jim. He doesn't have at&t, which means he doesn;t have service out here which means he didn;t get the message from his boss about deleting his new messages so other people don;t get annoyed about th big red flashing light on his phone.
