How can i access my verizon cell phone's voicemail from another phone?

my phone broke and i'm in a different city so i need to check my voicemail and i know it's possible but i don't know how

1. yes all u have to do is dial your number when the voice mail comes on hit *and then put in your access code to get them
2. Call your cell phone number from any touch tone phone (may need to use area code if you are out of your home area). When your voice mail message comes on press the # key on the phone you are calling from. You will be prompted for your password and you can access your voice mail :)
3. just call your number and press either star * or pound # then it will ask you for your pin.
4. call ur cell phone # and press * enter ur passcode and there ya go
