How can I record an mp3 file of my telephone's voicemail greeting?
I have voicemail service through my local telephone company (Bellsouth). My daughter recorded our greeting. I would like to do away with the service, because my new phone has a digital answering machine built in, but I can't bring myself to have my daughter's cute message erased. I don't have to put her greeting on my new phone, I would just like to have a recording of it. Thanks!

- Well, easiest is just to have a microphone attached to your computer and play back the recording, and re-record it to your PC (better is if you could do this directely via wires instead of 'over the air').. once it's in your PC, most likely as uncompressed audio (WAVE file.. .wav), find software that will compress it to mp3.
