Voicemail

I've tried to use my voice mail,not working.System says check mike.Mute is off.Mike is plugged in.Can you help

Everything set up fine.Headphones+mike are new.I can't get my voice bars to register.System says check mike.All systems seem to be go.

1. If you're on a PC, try right clicking Volume Icon, select Audio Properties, Select the Voice Panel, and you can try the Test Hardware button, but before you do, on the Voice Playback section make sure you see you input device selected, and click the Volume button to bring up the mixer board and make sure Microphone is not muted there and the slider is up to at least midway. The Test Hardware will auto adjust it if it's working. Good luck.
