Getting Calls from Toll Free Numbers?

Is there a way to find out who/what company is calling me? I have been getting constant calls from various toll free numbers for a month now. I have been getting at least 6 a day, with no message left, and no person or machine when I answer the call! Any ideas how to stop this? I have tried reverse look up to find out where they are coming from but there are no listings for the number. It is driving me crazy! All day and evening long they call.
