what's the cause of rejection?

Recently I met a man on an internet site. we hit it off brilliantly, similar lifestyle, circumstances, everything. We've met a few times and its been great. Today we met and both knew that it would lead to a more "romantic" liaison between us. We were both willing. The problem is instantly after he wanted to leave - too soon really. It was quite insulting just HOW soon!! All he could say over and over was "its been a really long time...he was really uncomfortable". Funny how he wasn't so uncomfortable prior or during, just afterwards! About 1/2 hr later, I phoned to see if he was ok. Got his voicemail, and left message saying i was insulted at how quickly he left, I don't understand".. he texted me with this message: "No need to be insulted me. its me. please dont call or text me anymore, just leave it. Wish you the best." I've not dated for over 10 yrs, so I'm out of touch with this. Clearly I have been rejected, but I am trying to make sense of it, when it was going so well. any ideas?

  1. Unlucky, you just need to move on, rejection happens the sooner you get over that the beter life becomes
  2. he's probably married. or worried he couldn't get it up :)
  3. He probably is an user. I have met a couple of guys like that on the internet, but fortunately I found out about their true color before things got too far. I think you were just a challenge to him at the beginning and after he reached his goal, the interest level just dropped to zero. He probably will continue looking for new challenges and do the same thing he did to you. Please be glad that you have the chance to get away from him before too late. I know it will bother you for some time but you will get over it and will find the man that deserves you. Best of luck! :)
  4. I don't know, love hurts seriously.
