How do I set up my voicemail on my LG Shine from AT&T?

I have tried pressing one and all that stuff though i do not know how to make my greeting or voice mail thing helppp

1. You need to press and hold the 1 key for a couple of seconds and it will call your voice mail number. If you press and hold the 1 key down and it says no number is stored it means that they did not put the voice mail number in the phone when you bought it. If this is the case call At&t at 800-331-0500 and they will give you the correct number to enter in the phone.
