How to remove unlocked Iphone 3G Voicemail icon or make it useless?

Hi, I am using iPhone 3G unlocked for few months. I have problem that while tapin dial keypad icon, i have mistakenly taped voicemail icon so many times. First few days i didnt knew Etisalat was charging for it because there is no voicemail service here yet, but they used to charge 0.30DH for each minute So is there any way to remove icon or make it useless? Thanks
