What economic advantages could be realized if your college campus applied virtual office concepts to the needs?

- I'm guessing your talking about being able to access college networks and systems while not necessarily being physically on the college campus. Many colleges have already jumped on the idea - being able to include tons more people (and therefore make more money) - without having to build new dorms and classrooms. All they need to make sure is that their network can handle the traffic. The pros of this idea are pretty straightforward - namely, you don't have to be on the school's campus to be able to access necessary documents and network drives. So, for instance, let's say you live 100 miles away from the school. You want to take some classes there, but don't want to live on campus. With the idea of a virtual office, as long as you have some means of authenticating yourself with the school network, you can do that. Many people also call it "virtual campus".
