How can I permanently save Verizon wireless voicemail messages?

A family member passed away, and I would like to save his messages forever as a keepsake.

1. If they are not deleted, after you listen to your new messages, and delete or something, just hang up voicemail. The next time you come back it will say (#) saved message(S)
2. There is no way to do it- you have to log in every 21 days to re-save the message
