How do i check my voicemail for my AT&T cellphone from my house phone?

I dont have my AT&T/cingular cell phone with me and i need to check the voicemail on it form my house phone. how do i do so?

1. Dial your mobile number, wait for you outgoing voicemail message to start playing and then press #. It should ask you for your phone number.
2. Call yourself, then dial your password when you hear your voicemail.
3. It is NOT the pound key. Dial your number from your house phone. Then press the * (STAR) key. Enter in your password.
