Voicemail

How do you get rid of the automated voice in the voicemail with Verizon Wireless cell phones?

I am trying to record my voice message, which is okay, but when I listen to it from an outside phone, Verizon adds an entire minute's worth of options after my message. I just want to have my voice on my voice message. How do I do it?

  1. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure with Verizon that you can only have it so that you have that stupid "Please leave a message after the tone. To send a numeric page, press 2" or whatever after your recorded message. Sorry! To the best of my knowledge, for your voice mail, you can only have either: 1) fully automated 2) personally recorded w/ after options 3) recording your name to be put in the automated message
  2. http://cellphoneinfo.googlepages.com With Verizon, there is no way to get rid of this. Same with all the other national cell carriers. There are security reasons for this, but I am not going to get into that.
