Verizon Wireless Voicemail?

I use Verizon Wirless IMPULSE (prepay), I was suprised to find out that it costs to check my voicemail, I recently got a new voice message and was wondering how to check it with no minutes, plus no one can call me? I've heard of "backdoor numbers" but don't know how to get one for mine. My cell phone number is 712-433-4750 Thanks, Beav

1. there are only two ways to check your voicemail so you won't pull minutes there was a backdoor "accidentaly" and we fixed it.. so you can call from a land line"home phone" call your self when your voice mail picks up hit the * key it will recognize that you are the possible user and prompt you for your password... second option call from anyother verizonwireless phone to check it Mobile to mobile its free
2. hi i have this also and to check my voice mail i call my cell from a landline phone and when my voicemail picks up i hit pound and enter my password and i can hear my voicemail
