How do I set up voicemail on my new LG scoop?

I need to set up voicemail on my phone but I don't know how. I read the instruction manual, but it didn't help any. And when I call my voicemail, what is the security number? I tried the last four digits of my number, but it didn't work. I am so lost. Help please!
