How do you record an outgoing voicemail message on a verizon cell phone?

i'm talking about when you don't answer your phone when you get a call and it's the message the person calling you hears like "hi sorry i missed your call. leave me a message and i'll call you back....BEEP" lol

1. Are you talking about when you call someone or when you just want to send them a voicemail? If it's when you're calling someone, wait for their voicemail to pick up then leave a message. To just send them a voicemail- go to your voicemail and it will give you an option to send a voicemail to another person.
