Verizon wireless voicemail number?

Is there any way to call the Verizon Wireless voicemail service from a land-line and leave a message on someones phone? I use T-Mobile and my friend uses Verizon Wireless. I am unable to use my voicemail to leave them a message, therefore, I was just wondering if it was possible to call their voicemail directly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

1. Umm, I'm pretty sure you just call your friend's number and after about 30 seconds the voicemail should come on. From a Verizon phone you can dial 1 to get voicemail.
2. Yes u can leave them a voicemail from a landline but you can only leave one from your verizon phone without having to call them if that's what u mean.
3. your friend has not recorded or set up his voice mail. when his phone is off, there's no place to leave the message. this is the only possible reason that you can't leave a message.
4. its not possible to send a message from t-mobile voicemail to a verizon wireless phone. you can however use a service like sendabuz (888-5SENDABUZ) to send a message to any cell phone voicemail on the major carriers without the phone ringing.
