How do I figure out who/what number sent me a voicemail?

I have an Alltel phone with Alltel service, and someone left me a hate voicemail. How do I figure out what number/who sent it?

1. when you're playing the voicemail try pushing 5 that might tell you.
2. If the number was protected by caller ID blocking, call Alltel and ask them to see if they can find out what the number was. Tell them the message scared you and that it made you feel unsafe and threatened. Then call the police and file a report if it really did scare you. Don't delete it, until you're sure you won't need it later. On my cell phone I know that another way to get the number attached to a voicemail is by selecting "other options" after the voicemail has finished playing. That might take you to a menu where you can get the date, time, and phone number information for that voicemail.
