Voicemail

With verizon cell service, how can you tell what number a voicemail was left from?

Someone left me a voicemail when my phone was turned off so the call was not logged in my missed or incoming calls list. I know that there is some combination of numbers and symbols that you can press while listening to the voicemail to tell who left the message, but I can't remember it, can anyone help me out?

1. In the menu options in voicemail, there should be an option for a callback number. I think that is what it is called. If you listen to the options, I'm sure you can figure out which option to choose. I'm not sure if it will work if the phone was off-but it won't hurt anything to check.
2. hello, after you access your voicemail system, find the message you want to get info. about. Listen to the message and during playback press "0" and then press "5" and that will give you "envelope" information (time of call and phone number). Hope it helps.
