Common Problem with SMS & Voice Mail with Nokia E70?

Hey there, I have an unlocked Nokia E70 and have had it for over a year. I use the phone in California. About 3 weeks ago, my incoming text messages stopped working. I was on the AT&T/Cingular network at the time and got sick of working with tech support to clear this issue. They had me restore the phone's original settings, restart the phone, check the message center number, send myself text messages, none of which solved the problem. Also, my voice mail icon was staying on whether or not I had voicemails (it would never go away, even if I checked my voice mails, and exited the system used the asterisk on my phone)... So I switched to T-Mobile, thinking it might help. It somewhat did. My messages used to come in either not at all or 3 days late on AT&T; with T-Mobile, they come in either not at all or 1 day late. An improvement, but something's GOTTA be up! I have the right text messaging number for T-Mobile in there for the messaging number. I can SEND text messages, and if sending doesn't fail once or twice, it'll definitely go through and the other person will receive my text (on T-Mobile AND on other networks). T-Mobile tech-support had me do pretty much the same thing the AT&T support had me do. They even tried texting from their network and not from a phone. Still no dice. I took out my SIM card and put it in another T-Mobile phone and was able to send and receive text messages. Now I'm guessing it's my phone... Tried restoring factory settings again but still nothing. Voice mail icon now is non-existant... I don't know if I have voice mails or not. It stays off no matter what (opposite of the AT&T problem). I googled the "T-Mobile Configurator" and even checked on Nokia's website for the MMS settings to be sent to my phone, but it's obviously no use doing that since I can't receive text messages. On an upside, reception is FAR better on T-Mobile than with AT&T Blue. Any suggestions? Tech-tips, or advice on how I can get this working? 1. i think the network provider is not at fault. take ur sim out and then put it in an other phone if u then recieve text msgs then problem solved!!!
