Voicemail

Is the pause after dialing and before the outgoing call starts ringing a consistent length of time?

I need my computer to call a voice mail system, dial a few option numbers after it picks up, and "play" sound into the greeting message that it is recording. I am trying to figure out if a service such as Yahoo Voice will work for this. Part of this is figuring out if the length of time between saying "dial" and the other side picking up is consistent. Can someone help me with these questions?

1. Yahoo is not reliable enough but perhaps with trial and error you could make it work.EZ Macros may help.
