Yahoo New Messanger with Voice?

Every time i use Yahoo Messenger, the old and new version, with or without cam, confrence or not ,my voice mail freezes the system and just stops or signs, me of yahoo messenger,what can i do to correct this, i would love to view and be viewed and chat using either my headset with mic or the mic andd speakers, please do someone know what i need to download to correct this.

1. I think you can't have the old and new versions at the same time. Just in case you get no official technical response from Yahoo! people here, well I had similar problem and what I did was: First, delete them. Clear up all the downloaded Yahoo! Messenger from your computer. Choose one version and download it again. It works for me.
2. First thing to do is check for any updates to your audio device drivers. System freezes generally indicate a problem with device drivers. Once that's all set, you should consider a re-install of Yahoo! Messenger. Click the Start menu, Control Panels and open Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Yahoo! Messenger and remove it. Then install a fresh copy of the most recent version from http://messenger.yahoo.com
3. they both right but heres a tip never have tow versions of any prog on ya pc they conflict when you use them ive heard of ppl with antivirus programs that try to erase each other lmao its jus they both do the same thing so ... anyways erase both and reinstall a newer version u should be fine also update ya windows man ya drivers might be out of date for the new messy
4. u might need to check and see if there are any updates for the devices...if that doesnt work check your memory status of your computer if your memory is to low it can cause your computer to do weird stuff
