Voicemail

Continuous calls from 1-213-228-8111 all day?

I started recieving calls from this number 1-213-228-8111 on my cell phone today. I googled the number and it seems to be a scam, and I am not the only one. They have called 5 times today, and every time I answer, they hang up. When I let it go to voicemail, I get no voicemail. I even tried calling the number back to get off their list, but after being on hold for 15 min. I gave up, realizing no one was going to answer. It is not only making me really angry, but a little worried. Here are the times they have called today (May 26): 1:48 p.m. 2:17 p.m. 2:51 p.m. 3:19 p.m. 3:45 p.m. How can I make this stop?? I have no idea how they got my cell phone number, I do not order anything on line, or give out my information via the internet at all.

1. Call your phone company and have that number blocked. You can also call your police department and report that number as harassing you. Then call your phone company with the case number. This allows them to do more and perhaps they'll block the number without charge to you.
