1. Well, from the personal experience of my family, I would say that currently, it works pretty well. My wife is a small business owner, as am I, and both of us work from home, and have "virtual offices" which we use for business needs outside of the home. It saves a lot of money for us, since we then no longer need to pay the full price of a full-time office (at which, the costs add up quickly), and we get to be much more involved in the raising of our children.
