Have you used a virtual personal assistant, and if so how was your experience?
I just finished reading the book "4-hour work week" (something like that) and I'm very intrigued about the idea of getting a virtual personal assistant ("virtual" in this case means someone located in a virtual office, but is actually a real person). Does anybody here have any experience with that sort of thing? Were you satisfied / disappointed? Please refrain from answering if you have not actually tried it. I'm looking to hear actual experiences, not some generic "common sense" opinions. Thanks!

- I use a virtual assistant to do research for me for article ideas and data on articles I am writing. She also takes care of our news blog. I am very satisfied with the virtual assistant I use. I guess what worked for me is that I have a clear set of things I need to get done, and I give very clear instructions on how to do the things I need done including timeline. And so far, she has delivered consistently. My VA has been a great help for me and frees up my time to do more important things (such as being on YA :o)
