If someone has local calling only at home. (IE no long distance), can they dial toll free numbers??
I am not sure if you can dial toll free calls without having long distance. If I could, I would rather use a cheap phone card to dial the long distance calls, instead of using my home phone company.

- Of course you can =)
- Yes you can dial toll free numbers without long distance. I have a friend without long distance and she uses a calling card.
- Yes, you can still call toll-free numbers. You can also use calling card services that provide "local" area access numbers, or a toll-free access number.
- Yes, if you have local calling only (also known as Toll Restriction), you can dial any local call (of course) and you can also dial any toll-free call (800, 888, 877, 866 or 855) and you can also dial any 3 digit call that ends in 11, like 911, 711, and so on, EXCEPT 411 (because that costs money). You also cannot dial 0 or any call that starts with 0 (because that could cost money also).
