What does a toll free number followed by SVC mean?

I get these calls and they are usually toll free numbers. They come from different places I have noticed, but the number is always followed by SVC on my caller ID......What does the SVC have to do with these calls and what does this mean? Thanks for any answers that are helpful.

1. Toll free numbers can only be called and you cannot receive calls from Toll free #'s Toll free #'s are virtual numbers when called will ring on a physical line check with your service provider
